We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical Surgical/Telemetry Cardiac unit. The RN will provide high-quality patient care, monitor cardiac telemetry, and collaborate with healthcare specialists to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Review patients’ medical history, test results, and treatment plans
Track and record vital signs including heart rate, blood pressure, and pulse oximetry
Monitor, interpret, and document data from specialized medical equipment
Administer medications and perform treatment interventions in consultation with physicians and specialists
Maintain and update patient charts, files, and medical records accurately
Provide guidance and instruction to Telemetry Unit staff on patient care protocols
Collaborate with healthcare teams and report changes in patient conditions promptly
Communicate test results and procedures clearly to patients and families, addressing questions and concerns
Educate patients on post-hospital care, including medication adherence, home care protocols, disease prevention, and lifestyle modifications
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Active State RN license
Preferred Qualifications (if any)
Prior experience in a cardiac telemetry or medical surgical unit
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
Certifications (if any)
BLS (required)
ACLS (preferred)
Education: Associate's Degree
Certification: Basic Life Support , Advanced Cardiac Life Support
