We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Oncology unit. The RN will provide specialized care to patients undergoing cancer treatment, including chemotherapy, radiation, and surgical interventions. This role requires strong clinical expertise, emotional resilience, and the ability to support patients and families through complex treatment journeys.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality nursing care to oncology patients across inpatient and outpatient settings
Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other cancer-related treatments safely and accurately
Monitor patient responses to treatment, manage side effects, and promptly report changes in condition
Provide education to patients and families regarding treatment plans, medication management, and symptom control
Collaborate with oncologists, pharmacists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatments, and outcomes
Support patients and families emotionally, offering guidance and resources throughout the cancer care continuum
Adhere to infection control protocols and safety standards in all patient care activities
Required Qualifications
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum of 1–2 years of clinical nursing experience (preferably in oncology or medical-surgical units)
Strong knowledge of cancer treatments, side effect management, and patient education practices
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Preferred Qualifications (if any)
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher degree
Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) credential
Prior experience administering chemotherapy and managing oncology patients
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
