We are seeking a skilled and reliable Medical Dosimetrist to provide remote or on-site coverage during an immediate vacancy. The role involves supporting a full range of treatment planning activities and collaborating closely with radiation oncologists and physics teams to ensure timely, high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Provide dosimetry coverage to support patient treatment schedules.
Perform treatment planning activities including 3D, IMRT/VMAT, SBRT, image import/registration, contouring support, and replans.
Collaborate effectively with radiation oncology and physics teams.
Ensure accurate and timely plan delivery to avoid delays in patient treatment.
Utilize advanced technologies and systems including Eclipse, ARIA, and RadFormation tools.
Required Qualifications
Proficiency with Eclipse Treatment Planning System and ARIA Oncology Information System.
Experience working with Varian TrueBeam linear accelerators.
Strong knowledge of treatment planning techniques (3D, IMRT/VMAT, SBRT).
Ability to work in a busy, community-based cancer center environment.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications (if any)
Experience with RadFormation suite (ClearCheck, AutoContour, etc.).
Familiarity with Brainlab systems and SRS program implementation.
Prior experience in a community-based cancer center with advanced technology platforms.
Certifications (if any)
Certified Medical Dosimetrist (CMD) preferred but not required.
Experience with Eclipse/ARIA/TrueBeam required.
SBRT and RadFormation experience strongly preferred.
