Job description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mammography Technologist to join our radiology team. The ideal candidate will perform high-quality radiologic mammography exams, including advanced procedures, while ensuring the comfort and safety of patients. This position requires technical proficiency and a commitment to maintaining high standards of care for adult patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mammography Exams: Perform standard and advanced mammography procedures, such as stereotactic biopsies, clip placements, and drainages, following department protocols.
- Quality Control: Conduct quality control functions related to mammography to ensure accurate and reliable results.
- Patient Care: Provide care for adult patients between 18 to 64 years old, ensuring their comfort and understanding throughout the procedure.
- Technical Proficiency: Execute mammography procedures with high technical skill, delivering clear and accurate imaging results.
- Collaboration: Work closely with radiologists and healthcare providers to provide high-quality diagnostic images for patient care.
- Documentation: Accurately document patient information and procedures using EPIC EMR.
Qualifications:
- Education: Completion of an accredited Radiology Program.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Mammography Technologist.
Licenses/Certifications:
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
Other Requirements:
- COVID-19 vaccination.
- Experience with EPIC EMR.
Education: Associate's Degree
