The Radiologic Technologist in the Diagnostic Imaging department at Samaritan Health Services is responsible for performing imaging procedures in Cardiac Catheterization and Interventional Radiology using state-of-the-art technology. This role supports healthcare teams by providing accurate diagnostic imaging to facilitate timely and effective patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic imaging procedures in Cardiac Cath and Interventional Radiology settings.
Operate imaging equipment in accordance with safety and quality standards.
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure accurate imaging and patient care.
Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout procedures.
Adhere to departmental protocols and regulatory standards.
Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and medical personnel.
Required Qualifications
Current ARRT RT(R) credential.
Current unencumbered Oregon license in Radiologic Technology.
Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Preferred Qualifications
One (1) year of experience or training in a Cath Lab/Angio hospital setting.
Certifications
ARRT RT(R).
Oregon Radiologic Technologist License.
Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – American Heart Association.
Education: Bachelors Degree
