We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Dietitian to join our healthcare team. The Dietitian will be responsible for assessing nutritional needs, developing individualized meal plans, and providing guidance to promote healthy eating habits and overall wellness. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with medical staff, patients, and families.
Key Responsibilities
Assess patients’ nutritional and health needs through evaluations and consultations.
Develop and implement personalized nutrition plans based on medical conditions, lifestyle, and goals.
Provide education and counseling on healthy eating habits, dietary restrictions, and food choices.
Monitor patient progress and adjust meal plans as necessary.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Stay updated on current nutrition research, guidelines, and best practices.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field.
Completion of an accredited dietetic internship program.
Strong knowledge of medical nutrition therapy and dietary guidelines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Must have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty within the past 2 years.
Preferred Qualifications (if any)
Master’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or Public Health.
Experience working in a hospital, clinic, or long-term care facility.
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
Certifications (if any)
Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential.
