We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse – Cath Lab to join our cardiovascular care team. The Cath Lab Nurse will provide specialized nursing care during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, and other interventional procedures.
Prepare patients for procedures, including assessment, education, and monitoring.
Administer medications and manage IV lines as required.
Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes promptly.
Provide post-procedure care, including recovery monitoring and discharge instructions.
Collaborate with cardiologists, technicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and procedural details.
Required Qualifications
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in critical care or cardiovascular settings.
Strong knowledge of cardiac procedures and patient monitoring.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications (if any)
Prior experience in a Cath Lab or cardiovascular unit.
Advanced training in cardiac nursing or interventional cardiology.
Certifications (if any)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (required).
CCRN or RCIS certification (preferred but not mandatory).
Education: High School
