We are seeking a Certified RN First Assist (CRNFA) for a travel assignment to support surgical procedures and patient care. This role requires strong clinical expertise, particularly in neuro-related procedures, and the ability to work collaboratively with surgical teams in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist surgeons during operative and invasive procedures
Provide perioperative patient care, including preparation and post-operative support
Maintain sterile technique and ensure adherence to surgical protocols
Monitor patient condition during procedures and communicate with the surgical team
Support documentation and maintain accurate patient records
Participate in on-call rotations and respond to surgical needs as required
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Certified RN First Assist (CRNFA) certification
Strong experience in RNFA role
Experience in neuro or neurological surgical procedures
Ability to work 40 hours per week (10-hour shifts, 06:45 AM – 05:15 PM)
Flexibility to work variable days and participate in on-call schedules
Preferred Qualifications
Prior travel nursing experience
Experience working in high-acuity surgical environments
