JOB SUMMARY
The Technician is an integral part of an assembly team responsible for manufacturing specific chemistries vital to the medical diagnostics field. This role directly supports healthcare professionals globally, enabling rapid and accurate patient diagnoses. The successful candidate will be meticulous, detail-oriented, and adept at executing complex, step-by-step procedures with a focus on accuracy. This error-free environment is critical for product quality, where lives depend on the integrity of our manufacturing processes. This position aims to optimize patient care worldwide, requiring a dedicated individual who can work both independently and as a collaborative team member, committed to producing high-quality, error-free reagents and maintaining thorough documentation with regular quality checks.

Key Responsibilities
• Perform buffer and reagent formulation, including mixing and pH adjustment.
• Operate and test using various equipment, including spectrophotometers and Beckman instruments.
• Utilize computers for routine tasks, data generation and analysis, time reporting, and online training.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of work areas.
• Perform calibration and regular maintenance of instrumentation.
• Clean and assemble glassware and components used in processing.
• Document step-by-step procedures and conduct periodic quality checks.

Required Qualifications
• Associates (AA) degree or completion of basic chemistry laboratory classes.
• Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of related experience in a GMP/GLP lab.
• Fluent in English (spoken, written, reading).
• Basic computer skills (MS Office, Outlook, timekeeping).
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.

Preferred Qualifications
• Focus on chemical and/or biological sciences.
• Science knowledge of basic lab techniques such as pH adjusting and buffer preparation.
• Past working experience and knowledge of government-regulated working environments.
