JOB TITLE: High Risk OB Sonographer - Critical Need

JOB SUMMARY
Seeking a highly skilled High Risk OB Sonographer to join our team. In this critical role, you will perform specialized ultrasound examinations on high-risk obstetric patients, contributing to accurate diagnosis and optimal patient care.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform complex ultrasound examinations on high-risk obstetric patients.
- Obtain and document relevant patient history.
- Operate ultrasound equipment to acquire diagnostic images and doppler studies.
- Analyze sonographic findings and communicate them effectively to the medical team.
- Ensure all examinations are performed in accordance with established protocols and standards.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines.
- Prepare and maintain accurate and timely medical records.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Successful completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program.
- Minimum of [X] years of experience as a Sonographer, with a significant focus on high-risk obstetrics.
- Proficiency in performing advanced obstetric ultrasound techniques.
- Strong understanding of fetal anatomy, physiology, and common obstetric pathologies.
- Excellent knowledge of ultrasound physics and instrumentation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Current BLS certification.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with 3D/4D ultrasound in the obstetric setting.
- Familiarity with various obstetric ultrasound software and PACS systems.
- Experience in a high-volume or academic medical center.

CERTIFICATIONS
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) with OB/GYN specialization.
- Current BLS certification.
