Client is seeking a qualified Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide speech and language services to students across the district. This full-time, in-person position supports a full caseload of students and may include supervision responsibilities. Flexibility is required regarding school placement, with many current openings located in South Dallas (south of Interstate 30).
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in school-aged children
Develop individualized treatment plans based on student needs
Maintain documentation including progress reports, evaluations, and IEP-related records
Collaborate with teams including teachers, administrators, parents, and multidisciplinary staff to support student success
Participate in ARD/IEP meetings and provide recommendations regarding services
Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
Provide supervision and support as required by district needs
Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal regulations
Required Qualifications
Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology
Active Speech Language Pathologist license
Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) required
Bilingual proficiency in English/Spanish
Ability to manage a full student caseload
Must be available to work on-site (remote/hybrid not accepted)
Flexibility to accept assignments anywhere within Dallas ISD
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with diverse student populations in special education settings
Prior supervision experience in school-based therapy programs
Certifications
Speech Language Pathologist license – Required
SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) – Required
