JOB SUMMARY
Seeking a skilled and certified CT Technologist for a travel position.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging examinations utilizing CT scanners according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Position patients correctly for examinations, ensuring comfort, safety, and radiation protection.
- Operate CT scanner console to manipulate image quality and ensure diagnostic accuracy.
- Prepare contrast media and administer to patients as required, following safety guidelines.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in the PACS/RIS system.
- Monitor patient well-being during procedures, responding to emergencies as needed.
- Adhere to all safety, infection control, and HIPAA regulations.
- Clean and maintain imaging equipment; report any malfunctions.
Schedule / Shift
- 3:00 PM - 3:30 AM
- Friday, Saturday, Sunday
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Successful completion of the ARRT certification examination in Computed Tomography.
- State licensure as required.
- BLS certification.
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist.
Skills
- Proficient in performing a wide range of CT procedures.
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
