Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Onsite PM / Shadow Product Owner who will act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) and delivery leader for a multi-disciplinary product engineering program.
This role requires end-to-end ownership across Product Development Lifecycle (PDLC), leading cross-functional teams including Scrum Masters, Architects, Developers, QA, and Business Analysts, while closely collaborating with customer stakeholders onsite.
The ideal candidate will bridge business vision and engineering execution, acting as a proxy Product Owner, ensuring alignment, prioritization, and successful delivery of complex C++/Qt-based imaging and inspection systems.
Key Responsibilities
A. Onsite Leadership & SPOC Role
Act as the primary onsite interface between customer stakeholders and offshore engineering teams
Own communication, escalation management, and stakeholder alignment
Drive decision-making, prioritization, and program direction
Represent delivery status, risks, roadmap, and milestones to leadership
B. Product Ownership (Shadow PO Responsibilities)
Work closely with customer Product Owners to refine vision, roadmap, and backlog
Own and manage product backlog, user stories, and acceptance criteria
Ensure business requirements are clearly translated into technical deliverables [All JDs.pdf]
Drive prioritization based on business value, ROI, and technical feasibility
Lead sprint reviews, demos, and stakeholder feedback loops
Ensure alignment across product, UX, engineering, and QA
C. Program & Project Management
Own end-to-end program delivery across multiple Agile teams
Plan and manage scope, schedule, cost, quality, and risks
Track program KPIs: velocity, quality, predictability, release readiness [All JDs.pdf]
Manage cross-team dependencies, risks, and mitigation plans
Ensure timely releases, milestone adherence, and customer commitments
Drive resource planning, capacity management, and budgeting
Implement governance through status reporting, steering committees, and reviews
D. Agile Delivery Leadership
Guide Scrum Masters and teams to follow Agile best practices
Oversee Agile ceremonies (planning, stand-ups, retrospectives)
Ensure continuous improvement and delivery excellence
Drive Agile maturity across teams and stakeholders
E. Cross-functional Team Leadership
Lead multiple teams including:
Scrum Masters
Architects (AI / Solution)
Developers (C++ / Qt)
QA / Test Engineers
Business Analysts
Ensure seamless collaboration across Dev, QA, Product, and DevOps
Mentor teams, resolve conflicts, and foster a high-performance culture
F. Technical Oversight & Governance
Provide high-level technical oversight across:
C++ backend systems
Qt-based UI applications
Database layers (PostgreSQL/MySQL)
Ensure alignment with architecture, scalability, and performance goals
Oversee CI/CD, release pipelines, and DevOps practices
Support integration of AI/ML capabilities into applications
G. AI & Innovation Enablement
Drive adoption of AI-enabled SDLC practices (Windsurf, Cursor tools)
Promote AI-driven productivity, automation, and analytics
Support integration of AI/ML, computer vision, and imaging solutions
H. Domain & Product Expertise
Provide leadership in:
Healthcare / MedTech imaging systems (digital pathology, diagnostics)
Industrial inspection & materials science systems
Understand image processing, data-intensive systems, and inspection platforms
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Expertise
Strong understanding of:
C++ application development lifecycle
Qt-based UI systems
Databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL)
Familiarity with:
Azure DevOps (Boards, Pipelines, Backlogs)
Git version control
CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Exposure to:
AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch)
Image processing / computer vision
Microservices, APIs, cloud platforms (Azure/AWS preferred)

Strong experience in:
Product backlog management
