JOB SUMMARY
Provide diagnostic imaging services using computed tomography (CT) scanners.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform CT scans accurately and efficiently according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Prepare patients for CT examinations, explaining procedures and addressing any concerns.
- Position patients correctly to obtain optimal diagnostic images.
- Operate CT scanner and associated equipment.
- Ensure image quality and troubleshoot any technical issues.
- Maintain patient records and documentation.
- Adhere to radiation safety principles and protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.

Schedule / Shift
- 7 days a week, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
- Friday, Saturday, Sunday

Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Successful completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- State-specific radiologic technologist license.

Experience
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a CT Technologist.

Skills
- Proficient in performing CT scans and operating CT equipment.
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
- Understanding of radiation safety principles.
- Strong patient care and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

EMR / Systems
- Experience with PACS and RIS systems is generally required.

Patient Population
- Adults and potentially adolescents.

Unit / Specialty
- Freestanding Emergency Department (FSED) - Radiology

Floating / On-Call
- Position may require floating to different areas as needed.

Education: High School
