JOB SUMMARY
Performs diagnostic cardiac ultrasound procedures under the direction of a physician.

Key Responsibilities
- Operates echocardiography equipment to produce diagnostic images of the heart.
- Assists physicians with transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiograms.
- Prepares patients for echocardiography procedures, including explaining the procedure and answering questions.
- Documents patient information and procedure findings.
- Maintains echocardiography equipment and supplies.

Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Experience
- Prior experience as a Cardiac Sonographer or Echocardiography Technologist.

Certifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

- Proficient in performing diagnostic cardiac ultrasound procedures.
- Knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology.
- Ability to operate echocardiography equipment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
