JOB SUMMARY
Provides specialized intraoperative support for orthopedic surgical cases at multiple sites, including the main hospital and outpatient surgery center. Will also assist in other surgical cases when not primarily assigned to orthopedics.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide intraoperative support for orthopedic surgical procedures.
- Manage orthopedic implants, grafts, and instrumentation.
- Maintain knowledge of orthopedic procedures including total joint and sports medicine.
- Support General, Urology, Uro-GYN, GYN, ENT, Neuro, Podiatry, and Robotics cases when not assigned to orthopedic cases.
- Anticipate surgeon needs during procedures.
- Maintain a strong understanding of sterile technique and perioperative standards.
- Adapt to different teams, workflows, and case volumes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Schedule / Shift
- Full-time: 4 ten-hour shifts per week.
- Schedule flexibility required based on surgical volume.

Required Qualifications
- Surgical Technician Certification.
- Minimum 2 years' Operating Room experience with an orthopedic focus.
- Experience with orthopedic implants and grafts.
- Strong understanding of sterile technique and perioperative standards.
- Flexibility and strong orthopedic expertise.
- Ability to support additional surgical specialties as needed.
- Adaptability to different teams, workflows, and case volumes.
- Experience with robotics and advanced surgical technology.
- Strong critical thinking and adaptability.
- Commitment to patient safety and quality care.
- Team-oriented mindset and willingness to support all service lines.
- Compliance with facility policies.

Floating / On-Call
- Participate in call rotation including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
- Must maintain a 30-minute response time when on call.
