JOB SUMMARY
Seeking a skilled Interventional Radiologic Technician to join a dynamic healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during interventional radiologic procedures.
- Prepare and operate diagnostic imaging equipment.
- Administer contrast media as directed.
- Monitor patient vital signs and provide support during procedures.
- Ensure sterile techniques are maintained.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Clean and maintain equipment and work area.

Required Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Strong understanding of interventional radiology procedures and protocols.
- Knowledge of radiation safety principles.
- Ability to assist with patient care and monitoring.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Certifications
- ARRT(R) certification.
- State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist (if applicable).
- BLS certification.

Experience
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology.

Skills
- Proficient in operating fluoroscopy and other interventional imaging equipment.
- Competent in sterile technique and assisting in sterile procedures.
- Skilled in patient assessment and monitoring.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

EMR / Systems
- Experience with electronic health record systems is often beneficial.

Patient Population
- Adults undergoing interventional radiologic procedures.

Floating / On-Call
- Flexibility to float to related imaging departments may be required.
- Availability for on-call duties may be necessary.
