Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit

Description
The ICU RN will provide care for patients with life-threatening conditions or comorbidities requiring sophisticated organ support and invasive monitoring.
The Critical Care nurse will work in a highly challenging environment requiring deep thinking, strong knowledge, and quick thinking to care for the highest acuity level patients.
The ICU nurse will be adept at working with patients with different conditions: overdose, post-surgery, trauma, chronic illness, etc.
License/Certification:
BLS(AHA) and ACLS
1 years of ICU experience.
Skills:
Computer charting experience EPIC
MA or crisis licence not eligible for the emergency license if they have previous hits on licence.
Notes:
Must be available to work 1-2 per diem shifts per week and 1 weekend shift per month.
Must complete 5 day orientation + provide 2 days of availability for unit orientations within 2 weeks of completing the general orientation.
Education: Associate's Degree
Certification: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support , Basic Life Support
