JOB SUMMARY
Pediatric Registered Nurses (RNs) provide comprehensive nursing care to infants, children, adolescents, and young adults. They assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in accordance with professional nursing standards, ensuring the health and well-being of young patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide direct patient care to pediatric patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and intervention.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient vital signs and condition, reporting any significant changes.
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, and preventative care.
• Collaborate with physicians, other healthcare professionals, and ancillary services to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient records.
• Respond to emergency situations and provide appropriate intervention.
• Advocate for the needs of pediatric patients and their families.

Schedule / Shift
• 36 hours per week
• Night shifts
• Every other weekend rotation

Required Qualifications
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Experience
• Previous experience in pediatric nursing preferred.
