JOB SUMMARY
To perform a variety of technical procedures in Diagnostic Imaging to produce cross-sectional images of the patient's body for the diagnosis of disease and injury.

Key Responsibilities
• Operate CT scanner to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Perform a variety of CT imaging examinations, including routine and specialized procedures.
• Prepare patients for CT examinations, including patient history, explaining procedures, and ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Administer contrast media as prescribed and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Ensure proper patient positioning and technique to obtain optimal images.
• Assist radiologists and other physicians with imaging procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Adhere to radiation safety principles and protocols.
• Maintain and troubleshoot CT equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives.

Weekend/NOC

Required Qualifications
• Current ARRT RT(R) credential.
• Current ARRT (CT) credential.
• Current unencumbered Oregon license in Radiologic Technology.
• Healthcare Provider BLS certification.

Experience
• Experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
