JOB SUMMARY
Seeking a qualified Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures within the nuclear medicine department. This role requires a specialized background in medical imaging, specifically nuclear medicine.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures in the nuclear medicine department.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and effectively.
• Prepare patients for procedures, administer radiopharmaceuticals, and monitor patients during scans.
• Accurately record and document patient information and procedure details.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Schedule / Shift
• Days, 07:30 - 16:00
• Monday – Friday
Required Qualifications
• Successful completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
• Background in medical imaging, specifically in nuclear medicine.
Certifications
• BLS certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
Experience
• Previous experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
• Applicants must have nuclear medicine experience; lab technicians without this specific experience will not be considered qualified.
Floating / On-Call
• Required to work 1 week of call per month.
