JOB SUMMARY
Seeking a Certified Surgical Technician (CST) for a travel assignment. This role involves preparing the operating room, managing the sterile field, and assisting surgeons during various surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare the operating room, including the sterile field.
- Set up surgical equipment, supplies, and solutions.
- Pass instruments, fluids, and supplies to the surgeon during procedures.
- Prepare and manage surgical equipment.
- Simultaneously manage the sterile field and specimens.
- Perform counts of sponges and supplies to prevent retained foreign objects.
- Provide surgical technologist duties for ortho, general, spine, vascular, urology, and OB procedures.

Schedule / Shift
- Days: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM
- Monday - Friday, 10-hour shifts
- Rotating weekday off

Required Qualifications
- BLS required
- 2+ years of experience as a Surgical Technologist
- Must be greater than 50 miles from the facility
- Maximum RTO of 2 weeks
- RTO blackout on Labor Day

Preferred Qualifications
- CRST preferred

- BLS

Experience
- 2+ years of experience as a Surgical Technologist
- Experience in ortho, general, spine, vascular, urology, and OB procedures.

Skills
- Proficient in preparing and maintaining a sterile field.
- Skilled in assisting surgeons with instrumentation and supplies.
- Competent in performing surgical counts.
- Ability to manage equipment and specimens.
