Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Surgical Technician to join
our healthcare team. The Surgical Technician will assist surgeons, nurses,
and other medical staff during surgical procedures, ensuring a safe and
sterile environment while supporting patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare operating rooms by setting up surgical instruments, equipment, and
supplies.
Ensure all tools and equipment are sterilized and functioning properly.
Assist surgeons and nurses during procedures by passing instruments and
maintaining sterile fields.
Monitor patient safety and comfort throughout surgical operations.
Handle specimens for laboratory analysis as directed.
Maintain accurate records of surgical procedures and inventory of
supplies.
Required Qualifications
Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
Strong knowledge of surgical instruments, procedures, and sterile
techniques.
Ability to work effectively under pressure in fast-paced environments.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications (if any)
Prior experience in a hospital or surgical setting.
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
Certifications (if any)
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential preferred.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
