JOB SUMMARY
Provide direct nursing care to acutely ill patients under the direction of a Registered Nurse. Facilitate the nursing process through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Adhere to facility policies, procedures, and patient care standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform patient assessments, vital signs monitoring, and administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely in the electronic health record.
- Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and transfers.
- Provide patient and family education regarding health conditions and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
- Maintain a safe and clean patient environment.
Schedule / Shift
7:00 AM - 7:00 PM (12-hour shifts)
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in the state of practice.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Proficient in telemetry monitoring.
- Demonstrate safe overall nursing care.
- Ability to work every other weekend.
Preferred Qualifications
- Inpatient hospital nursing experience.

- May be required to float to other MedSurg units (Med3, 4North, Rehab).
- No on-call required.
