JOB SUMMARY
Seeking a qualified CT Technologist for a travel assignment. This role will be responsible for performing diagnostic CT scans and ensuring high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic CT examinations according to physician's orders and established protocols.
- Operate CT scanner and related equipment to produce optimal images.
- Position patients correctly for imaging procedures.
- Administer contrast media as prescribed.
- Monitor patients during procedures, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Adhere to all infection control and safety policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals.
Schedule / Shift
- Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- State licensure as required.
Experience
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a CT Technologist in an acute care setting.
Skills
- Proficient in CT imaging techniques and protocols.
- Knowledge of anatomical structures and cross-sectional anatomy.
- Ability to operate various CT scanner models.
- Strong venipuncture skills for contrast administration.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
