JOB SUMMARY
Seeking a qualified Speech Language Pathologist for an inpatient setting.

Key Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment strategies and home exercises.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation.

Schedule / Shift
Monday-Friday and occasional weekend coverage.

Required Qualifications
- Licensed Speech Therapist within the state of Nebraska.
- American Heart Association’s BLS for Healthcare Providers.

Experience
- Experience with a daily caseload of 7-10 patients.

EMR / Systems
- Epic

Patient Population
- Neuro (stroke, TBI, Parkinson's)
- Trauma
- Post-intubation patients
- Cognitive evaluations for home safety
- Some swallow studies

Unit / Specialty
- Inpatient Rehabilitation
- Acute Care

Floating / On-Call
- Occasional weekend coverage.

Education: Masters Degree
