JOB SUMMARY
Certified Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Tech needed for operating room support.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist surgeons and surgical teams during cardiovascular procedures.
- Prepare and maintain the sterile surgical environment.
- Handle instruments, equipment, and supplies during surgery.
- Anticipate the needs of the surgical team.
- Ensure all equipment functions properly.
- Maintain accurate counts of sponges, needles, and instruments.
- Adhere to sterile technique and infection control protocols.

Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Graduation from an accredited Cardiovascular Operating Room Technician program.
- Certification as a Cardiovascular Operating Room Technician (CVORT).

Certifications
- Certified Cardiovascular Operating Room Technician (CVORT).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Experience
- Previous experience as a CVOR Tech is preferred.

Skills
- Proficient in sterile technique.
- Knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology.
- Familiarity with surgical instruments and equipment used in CVOR procedures.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail.
