JOB SUMMARY
Seeking a Registered Nurse with experience in Pre-Operative (PreOp) or Day Surgery settings to provide direct patient care.

Key Responsibilities
- Assess patient condition and develop appropriate care plans.
- Provide pre-operative patient education and support.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor patient vital signs and response to interventions.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in the EMR system.
- Ensure patient safety and adherence to established protocols.
- Prepare patients for surgical procedures.
- Post-operative recovery monitoring and discharge planning.

Schedule / Shift
- 4x10 hour shifts
- 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Experience in a Pre-Operative (PreOp) or Day Surgery unit.
- Familiarity with Meditech EMR system.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with both adult and pediatric patient populations.
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.

Experience
- Previous experience in PreOp or Day Surgery preferred.
- Experience with adult patients is a priority, followed by pediatric experience.
