JOB TITLE: IR Tech - Rapid Response

JOB SUMMARY:
Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist to join our Rapid Response team. This role requires expertise in a variety of complex interventional procedures and the ability to respond quickly to emergent patient needs. The ideal candidate will be proficient in TCAR, TEVAR, peripheral vascular interventions, and thrombectomies for PE/DVT.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform Interventional Radiology procedures, including TCAR, TEVAR, peripheral vascular interventions, and thrombectomies for PE/DVT.
- Operate IR equipment and assist physicians during procedures.
- Ensure patient safety and provide quality patient care.
- Maintain sterile technique and adhere to all infection control protocols.
- Properly document patient care activities and procedures.
- Respond rapidly to emergent situations requiring IR intervention.

Schedule / Shift
- 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
- 40 hours per week
- On-call duties required

Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Current ARRT certification in Radiography (R) or Interventional Radiology/Vascular Interventional (VI).
- State licensure as required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.

Certifications
- ARRT (R or VI)
- BLS
- ACLS

Experience
- Proven experience performing TCAR, TEVAR, peripheral vascular interventions, and PE/DVT thrombectomies.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology.

Skills
- Technical proficiency in IR procedures.
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with strong patient advocacy.

EMR / Systems
- Experience with electronic health record systems preferred.

- Interventional Radiology (IR)
- Rapid Response Team

Floating / On-Call
- On-call responsibilities are a requirement of this position.
- Flexibility to float within the IR department as needed.
