JOB TITLE: TRAVEL CT TECH

JOB SUMMARY
Seeking a qualified and experienced Travel CT Technologist to join our Radiology department. The ideal candidate will perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography (CT) equipment.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate CT scanners to produce cross-sectional images of the body.
- Position patients and assist them during CT procedures.
- Administer contrast media as required.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during examinations.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals.
- Adhere to established protocols, safety standards, and infection control policies.

Schedule / Shift
- Rotating Nights
- Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM
- Contract Length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications
- Active New Hampshire State License.
- ARRT-CT certification.
- BLS certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital setting.
- IV-certified or willing to be certified.
- Experience with stroke patients.
- Experience with biopsies.
- Experience with X-ray procedures.

Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with GE CT scanners.

Certifications
- ARRT-CT
- BLS

Experience
- 2 years of experience in a hospital setting required.
- Experience in stroke, biopsies, and X-ray procedures.

Skills
- Proficient in operating GE CT scanners.
- Ability to administer IV contrast.
- Strong understanding of CT imaging principles and techniques.
- Excellent patient care and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

EMR / Systems
- MEDITECH
- SECTRA PACS

Patient Population
- Adult and adolescent patients undergoing CT examinations.

Unit / Specialty
- Cat Scan / Radiology

Floating / On-Call
- Must be comfortable with call coverage.
- Rotating weekends are part of the schedule.
