JOB SUMMARY
Seeking a skilled CT Technologist for a travel assignment. This role is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging examinations using computed tomography (CT) technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform CT scans accurately and efficiently according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Position patients appropriately for CT imaging.
- Administer contrast media as required and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
- Operate and maintain CT imaging equipment.
- Ensure the quality and integrity of all images acquired.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all safety regulations.
- Document patient care activities and procedures performed.
Schedule / Shift
12:00 PM - 10:30 PM, Monday - Thursday
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Valid state license or certification in Radiologic Technology.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Experience
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a CT Technologist.
Skills
- Proficient in CT imaging procedures and protocols.
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot CT equipment.
- Strong patient assessment and monitoring skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Certifications
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) in CT.
- BLS certification.
