JOB SUMMARY
Seeking a skilled and compassionate Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray equipment. This role is crucial in assisting physicians with diagnosis and treatment planning.

Key Responsibilities
• Perform a variety of diagnostic X-ray procedures according to physician's orders and established protocols.
• Explain procedures to patients, ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Position patients correctly to obtain optimal diagnostic images.
• Operate X-ray equipment, ensuring proper calibration and maintenance.
• Process and manage digital imaging, ensuring image quality and accuracy.
• Maintain patient records and documentation in the electronic health record system.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and protocols to minimize patient and staff exposure.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Schedule / Shift
• Nights: 3x12 hour shifts per week.
• Specific shifts: Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday from 7:30 PM to 8:00 AM.

Required Qualifications
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.

Certifications
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Experience
• Experience performing diagnostic X-ray procedures.

Skills
• Proficiency in operating various X-ray equipment.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
• Attention to detail for accurate image acquisition and processing.
• Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

EMR / Systems
• Experience with PACS systems.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems.
