Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Production Coordinator to oversee loaner and consignment surgical tray coordination while ensuring efficient sterile processing workflows. This role serves as the primary liaison between vendors, clinical teams, and SPD staff to ensure surgical instrumentation is received, processed, tracked, sterilized, and returned accurately and on time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate all incoming and outgoing loaner and consignment trays.
- Verify tray accuracy before and after sterilization.
- Track tray movement through the complete sterilization and return cycle.
- Coordinate with vendors, OR staff, and SPD technicians.
- Monitor daily production workflow and resolve operational bottlenecks.
- Maintain accurate documentation and generate production reports.
- Ensure compliance with sterilization standards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of Sterile Processing experience.
- Strong experience managing loaner and consignment trays.
- Experience coordinating with vendors and clinical teams.
- Proficiency with instrument tracking software.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- CRCST or CSPDT certification required.
