JOB TITLE: Vascular/General Ultrasound Tech
JOB SUMMARY
Seeking a skilled and versatile Ultrasound Technologist proficient in performing a wide range of vascular and general ultrasound examinations. This role involves conducting comprehensive diagnostic imaging procedures to assist physicians in diagnosis and treatment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures for both vascular and general studies.
- Conduct a variety of exams including, but not limited to: Abdomen, Appendix, Intussusception, Pelvic, Small Parts, Upper Extremity and Lower Extremity Dopplers, Renal Dopplers, Pylorus, Cranial, and other specialty pediatric exams.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all procedures and findings.
- Maintain patient comfort and safety during examinations.
- Adhere to established protocols and imaging standards.
Schedule / Shift
- Three 12-hour shifts.
- Friday - Sunday, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM.
- Includes on-call rotation.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of an accredited Ultrasound program.
- Current BLS certification.
Certifications
- Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) required.
Experience
- Experience performing both vascular and general ultrasound studies.
- Experience with pediatric specialty exams is beneficial.
Skills
- Proficiency in performing Abdomen, Appendix, Intussusception, Pelvic, Small Parts, Upper Extremity and Lower Extremity Dopplers, Renal Dopplers, Pylorus, Cranial, and other specialty pediatric exams.
- Strong understanding of ultrasound physics and instrumentation.
- Excellent patient care and communication skills.
