JOB SUMMARY
Provide high-quality diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular services to patients in the Cath Lab.

Key Responsibilities
Assist physicians during cardiac catheterizations, angiograms, stent placements, and other cardiovascular procedures.
Operate and maintain Cath Lab equipment, including GE Innova systems.
Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
Monitor patient vital signs and respond to emergencies.
Perform scrubbing duties during procedures.
Document patient care and procedure details accurately.
Maintain a sterile environment within the Cath Lab.
Collaborate with the Cath Lab team, including RNs, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
Participate in on-call rotation as needed.

Schedule / Shift
7:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Successful completion of an accredited cardiovascular technologist program.
Competency in Special Procedures and GE Innova equipment.
BLS certification.
ACLS certification.
ARRT certification.

Preferred Qualifications
RCIS certification.

Experience
Experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting.
Experience with GE Innova equipment.
Experience with cardiac catheterizations, angiograms, stents, balloons, and ENT lab procedures.

Skills
Proficient in scrubbing during procedures.
Strong understanding of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology.
Ability to monitor patient vital signs and interpret EKG rhythms.
Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Flexibility and adaptability to changing needs of the unit.
