JOB SUMMARY
Seeking a skilled Special Procedure Technologist with a background in Interventional Radiology for a travel assignment. This role involves assisting physicians in performing diagnostic and interventional procedures in a specialized unit.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during interventional radiology procedures, including peripheral angiography, angioplasty, stenting, embolization, thrombolysis, biopsy, paracentesis, and thoracentesis.
- Operate and monitor specialized imaging equipment, such as the GE 4100 Innova.
- Ensure proper patient positioning, preparation, and monitoring throughout procedures.
- Maintain sterile field and assist with maintaining a safe and efficient procedure environment.
- Accurately document patient care, procedure details, and vital signs using MacLab and Meditech charting systems.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, unit guidelines, and safety protocols.

Schedule / Shift
Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with on-call responsibilities.

Required Qualifications
- Critical care background.
- Experience in cardiac cath lab or radiology interventional procedures.
- Proficiency in performing or assisting with peripheral angiography, angioplasty, stenting, embolization, thrombolysis, biopsy, paracentesis, and thoracentesis.
- Ability to work effectively within a specialized procedure team.

Experience
- Previous experience in Interventional Radiology or Cardiac Cath Lab is required.
- Experience with GE 4100 Innova equipment preferred.

Skills
- Advanced technical skills in interventional radiology procedures.
- Strong understanding of sterile technique.
- Proficient in patient monitoring and assessment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
