JOB TITLE: TRAVEL-X-RAY TECH
Unit / Specialty: Radiology
JOB SUMMARY
Seeking a qualified and compassionate Radiology Technologist to join our team, providing essential diagnostic imaging services to patients. This role involves operating X-ray equipment, performing a variety of diagnostic procedures, and supporting clinical teams across various hospital units.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures, including routine imaging of chest, abdomen, spine, pelvis, and extremities.
- Conduct portable bedside X-rays for patients in the Emergency Department, Intensive Care Unit, Post-Anesthesia Care Unit, and post-procedure areas.
- Provide C-arm/fluoroscopy support during surgical or procedural cases, assisting surgeons and physicians.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring optimal image quality and patient safety.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols and guidelines.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Schedule / Shift
Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Required Qualifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- ARRT (R) certification
- Registered Technologist (RT) credential

Experience
- Experience covering interventional radiology procedures, angiography/fluoro equipment, sterile procedural support, and radiation safety.
- Experience in a surgical suite supporting surgeons' imaging needs.
- Experience performing routine diagnostic X-rays, portable X-rays, and C-arm/fluoroscopy procedures.

Skills
- Proficiency in operating X-ray equipment.

Patient Population
- Serves a diverse patient population including ED, inpatient, ICU, PACU, and surgical patients.

Unit / Specialty
Radiology

Floating / On-Call
- May be assigned to the Operating Room or IR suite as needed.
- Periodic weekend shifts and available for up to one weekend call shift per month (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM).
