JOB SUMMARY
Performs diagnostic CT scans and general diagnostic radiography procedures to provide data for diagnosis and treatment of disease.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and emergent CT examinations including head, neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis, spine, and extremities.
- Conduct trauma studies, stroke imaging, and CTA head/neck and chest for pulmonary embolism or dissection.
- Perform renal-stone studies and contrast-enhanced examinations.
- Execute scheduled outpatient CT studies.
- Perform routine diagnostic and portable radiography for ED, inpatient, and scheduled patients.
- Conduct bedside exams, fluoroscopy, and C-arm support during surgical procedures.
- Operate GE OPTIMA CT660S GT2000 and REVO EVO 3.6B CT equipment.
- Proficiently handle ED/trauma patients, STAT exams, and stroke/angiography protocols.
- Administer oral and IV contrast, and utilize power injectors.
- Ensure safe patient positioning and PACS/RIS documentation.
- Monitor patients during procedures.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum two years of recent acute-care CT experience.
- Ability to work independently after orientation.
- Competency in CT and general diagnostic radiography, including routine X-ray, portable imaging, fluoroscopy, and C-arm imaging in the OR.
- Proficient with ED/trauma patients, STAT exams, stroke and angiography protocols.
- Experience with IV starts, oral/IV contrast screening and administration.
- Experience with power injectors, patient monitoring, and safe positioning.
- Experience with PACS/RIS documentation.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a Level I, II, or III trauma hospital.
- Experience independently covering evenings, nights, weekends, or call.
- Experience managing acute or difficult-to-position patients.
- Experience with GE CT/X-ray equipment.

Certifications
- ARRT(R)
- ARRT(CT)
- BLS for Healthcare Provider

Experience
- Minimum two years of recent acute-care CT experience.
- Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
