JOB TITLE: Rad Tech - Interventional Radiology

JOB SUMMARY:
Seeking a skilled and experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week contract position. This role will involve assisting physicians in a special procedures environment within Interventional Radiology.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for procedures.
- Operate imaging equipment to capture diagnostic images during interventional procedures.
- Monitor patient vital signs and condition during procedures.
- Assist physicians with sterile techniques and instrumentation.
- Administer contrast media as directed.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Ensure equipment is maintained and functional.
- Adhere to safety protocols and radiation protection standards.

Schedule / Shift:
08:00 - 16:30, 13 weeks

Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Current ARRT certification in Radiography (R) or Interventional Radiography (VI).
- State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist (if applicable).
- BLS certification.

Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.

Skills
- Proficiency in performing a variety of interventional radiology procedures.
- Knowledge of sterile techniques and surgical assisting.
- Strong understanding of radiation safety principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
