JOB SUMMARY
Seeking a qualified Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures using radioactive tracers. This role involves administering radiopharmaceuticals and operating specialized equipment to acquire images for diagnosis.

Key Responsibilities
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals safely and accurately to patients.
- Perform nuclear imaging procedures as prescribed by physicians.
- Operate and maintain nuclear imaging equipment, including PET scanners.
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures and provide post-procedure care.
- Ensure proper patient identification and adherence to safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.

Schedule / Shift
- Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts.
- No weekends or holidays required.
- Opportunity to volunteer for call shifts is available (Monday-Friday 0430-2200, Saturday-Sunday 0600-2200 with a 60-minute response time), but not mandatory.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
- Must hold a valid California State license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Certification from either NMTCB (Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board) or ARRT (American Registry of Radiological Technologists).

Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience with PET scans is preferred.
- Experience with Epic charting system.

- CA State License

Experience
- 2 years of experience in Nuclear Medicine Technology is required.
- Candidates with at least 2 years of experience will be screened; first-time travelers are not accepted unless they meet the experience requirement.

Skills
- Proficient in performing nuclear medicine procedures.
- Skilled in operating and troubleshooting nuclear imaging equipment.
- Strong understanding of radiation safety principles.
- Excellent patient care and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
