JOB SUMMARY
Seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week travel assignment.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Educate patients and families on communication strategies and swallowing techniques.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Schedule / Shift
- 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM
- 4, 10-hour shifts per week
- Rotating schedule including weekends
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- State of Alaska licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Provisional or cleared status for state of Alaska fingerprinting and background check through NABCS required prior to start.
Experience
- Experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred.
Certifications
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
