JOB SUMMARY
Seeking a skilled and dependable Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer for a travel assignment to provide diagnostic imaging services in an acute care setting. The technologist will be responsible for performing a variety of ultrasound procedures and working independently on the overnight shift.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures according to established protocols.
- Operate ultrasound equipment to capture diagnostic images.
- Evaluate sonographic images for technical quality and accuracy.
- Document patient information and procedure details in the EMR system.
- Communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Adhere to Trophon policy for equipment disinfection.

Schedule / Shift
- Thursday, Friday, Saturday
- 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM

Required Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist, preferably in an acute care setting.
- Active Colorado Licensure.
- BLS certification.
- ARRT (VS) or RVT certification.

Preferred Qualifications
- Pediatric experience, including Neonatal Heads, Appendix, Intussusception, NICU/PICU.
- Transplant experience.

- BLS
- ARRT (VS) or RVT

Experience
- Minimum 6 months of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist, preferably in an acute care setting.
- Experience performing Abdomen, OB First Tri, GYN (TA/TV), UEV, LEV, UEA, LEA, Liver Tx, Kidney Tx, Abdominal Dopplers, and Renal Dopplers.

Skills
- Ability to work independently.
- Excellent technical skills in performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in image acquisition and evaluation.

EMR / Systems
- Meditech

Patient Population
- General adult patient population, with potential for pediatric imaging.

Unit / Specialty
- Ultrasound / Radiology

Floating / On-Call
- Ability to work independently as the sole sonographer on the overnight shift.
