JOB SUMMARY
Performs a variety of technical duties in the Electrophysiology (EP) Lab, assisting physicians in the performance of diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist physicians during EP procedures, including catheter placement, device implantation, and ablations.
• Prepare and maintain EP lab equipment and supplies.
• Operate hemodynamic monitoring and recording equipment.
• Perform sterile scrubbing duties during procedures.
• Administer medications and contrast media as directed.
• Educate patients and families about procedures and post-procedure care.
• Document patient care activities accurately and comprehensively.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
Schedule / Shift
Days: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
Required Qualifications
• Proficiency in EP procedures.
• Knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Flexibility, teamwork, and a strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications
• Scrubbing experience.
• Mapping experience.
Certifications
• RT (Radiologic Technologist) or CVT (Cardiovascular Technologist) or RN (Registered Nurse) and RCES (Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist).

• Experience in an Electrophysiology Lab setting.
