Physical Therapist

Job Summary
The Physical Therapist evaluates, plans, and implements individualized treatment programs to restore function, improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities. This role works closely with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to promote optimal recovery and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct patient evaluations including medical history review and physical examinations
  • Develop treatment plans tailored to patient goals and conditions
  • Implement therapeutic interventions such as exercises, modalities, and manual therapy
  • Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and injury prevention
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, and other therapists
  • Document patient progress and treatment outcomes in medical records
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and professional guidelines
  • Support rehabilitation goals to promote mobility, function, and quality of life

Required Qualifications
  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy
  • Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and rehabilitation techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in outpatient, inpatient, or specialty care settings
  • Certification in advanced therapy techniques (e.g., orthopedics, neurology, sports medicine)
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems

Certifications
  • State Physical Therapy license required
  • CPR/BLS certification preferred

Location- Travel experience required
