Experience Required Job Summary: As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will perform a variety of
diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine procedures. This role requires
expertise in handling radiopharmaceuticals and operating advanced imaging
equipment while ensuring patient safety and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities: Order, prepare, calibrate, store, and administer radiopharmaceuticals for
routine and on-call procedures. Conduct quality assurance on imaging cameras and various instruments. Operate radiation detection devices and perform computer operations using
systems such as Meditech, PACS, and Syntrac. Ensure proper charges are entered and verify physician orders. Participate in maintaining departmental records and inventory.
Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in a clinical setting performing Nuclear Medicine
procedures. Familiarity with quality assurance protocols and safety regulations in a
healthcare environment. Must have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty within the
past 2 years.
Certifications: Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS). Certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist by an accredited body.
