Verifiable High School diploma or GED is required

***REQUIRED TO HAVE A IL PHARM TECH LICENSE- HAVE 1 YEAR TO BECOME CERTIFIED

Under the direct supervision of a pharmacist, selects, prepares and packages medications and supplies in preparation for shipment to patients. Performs record keeping functions. Assists in various inventory control processes.

At least 6 months experience as a pharmacy technician.

National pharmacy technician certification. Eligible for state registration, certification or licensure per state regulations.

Must be able to stand and walk for duration of shift (8-10 hours). Will be using adjustable tables, but will always be standing and moving.

Must be able to repeatedly lift 5-10 lbs tote boxes and medication boxes for duration of shift.

Reaching and grasping objects at various levels is required.
